The Assessment Process
Comprehensive ADHD Assessments for Children and Young People
At Neurodev Ltd, we take a thorough, personalised approach to assessing ADHD in children and young people. The process begins with a free consultation, where we discuss the challenges your child is facing. We then gather information through questionnaires completed by parents and teachers. Following this, we conduct an assessment, typically lasting two hours, to evaluate your child's needs. Afterward, we schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss the results, offer a diagnosis, and outline a tailored treatment plan to support your child's development and well-being.

Medication
At Neurodev Ltd, we understand that medication can be an essential part of managing ADHD symptoms for many individuals. After a thorough assessment, if appropriate, our expert team will discuss pharmacological options tailored to your specific needs. We offer guidance on the various medications available, their potential benefits, and any side effects, ensuring you make informed decisions about your treatment plan. Our goal is to find the most effective approach to help you or your child manage ADHD and thrive in daily life.

ADHD Screening
1. Screening
Your journey begins with ADHD screening, this helps us understand whether ADHD may be a factor and guides whether a full assessment is required. You will complete a few simple forms about your focus, habits and experiences over time.

ADHD Assessment
If screening suggests a potential diagnosis of ADHD, you’ll have a detailed clinical assessment with one of our specialist clinicians. We explore your symptoms, background, and daily challenges in depth, often using standard diagnostic tools and feedback from people who know you well (such as parents, teachers, or partners).
Time: 1hour-2 hours

Physical Health and Medication Assessment
If ADHD is diagnosed and medication is suitable, we’ll arrange a follow-up review to find the right treatment for you. This includes monitoring your response, adjusting the dose if needed, and providing ongoing support for long-term management and wellbeing.
